In some designs, sometimes, certain elements are not clickable and even though the design is there. The first thing you want to check is if the design is in the master layer. To do that, go to the page you want to check or edit. Then go to View > Master > Slide Master. From the slide master, you should be able to edit the element or text you need to edit.
